Il profeta (The Prophet) è una raccolta di poesie di Khalil Gibran pubblicata nel 1923 a New York. Si tratta di una delle opere più importanti di tutti i tempi tradotta in oltre 100 lingue. Si è voluto anticipare la celebrazione del centenario del libro che sarà nel 2023 con un’opera De Luxe riportando il testo originario in inglese con a fronte la traduzione in italiano. Inoltre sono inserite nel libro 30 illustrazioni di opere a colori dell’artista Octavia Monaco che fanno parte della collezione ‘Ierofanie’. Un’opera unica per raffinati collezionisti. Il libro è in tiratura limitata di 500 copie, ognuna numerata e firmata in originale dall’editore.

in New York) is one of the most widely read books
in the world. Its translations, as well as its readers
are countless. We wanted to anticipate the celebration
of the centenary of the book which will be in 2023
with a De Luxe work, reporting the original text in
English with the translation in Italian opposite.
Also included in the book are 30 illustrations of
color art works by the artist Octavia Monaco which
are part of the 'Hierophanies' collection.
A unique work for refined collectors.
The book is in a limited edition of 500 copies,
each numbered and signed in original by the publisher.

As a gift for each book: a color print taken from one of the artistic works.
